SQL Server 2008 Overview – Five Days
This Microsoft SQL Server training is designed for experienced database administrators (DBA) and developers. The workshop focuses on the fundamentals of advanced database management system topics.  Attendees will gain a strong understanding of SQL Server tools and concepts that will enable them to develop enterprise applications which heavily interact with and leverage the SQL Server database engine.

SQL Server 2008: Enabling Scalability and Efficiencies with New Technology – Three Days
This Microsoft SQL Server workshop will help DBAs understand how to exploit the new capabilities of SQL Server 2008 – including new performance, scalability, manageability and high-availability enhancements that enable running the most demanding mission-critical applications for both on-line transaction processing and data warehousing workloads. DBAs will learn how to enable application scalability and how to manage a database that makes use of the new SQL Server 2008 features.

Practical SQL Server 2008 (PRASS) for the Oracle DBA – Two or Four Days (Four days recommended)
This course will help Oracle DBAs leverage their skills and experience as an Oracle DBA to manage a SQL Server database system. This workshop provides a quick start for the Oracle DBA to map, compare and contrast the realm of Oracle database management to SQL Server database management.

While it is intended to be delivered as a fast, either two- or four-day workshop, the content in its entirety is a reference guide rather than a mere guideline.  The content is a comprehensive course with descriptive reference material while the course itself focuses on introducing the concepts and providing hands-on learning.

The approach of this workshop is to “relate-and-learn” based on relating the knowledge and experience of an Oracle DBA to the knowledge learned about administering SQL Server databases.

Advanced SQL Server 2008 Integration Services (SSIS)
This advanced level course is intended for participants who have working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services.  This training introduces the high performance capabilities of SSIS 2008 to build high throughput ETL packages of any size.  Participants are introduced to high speed ETL techniques and best practices based on real-world experiences from real customers.

Advanced SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services (SSAS)
This course is for students already familiar with creating Analysis Services databases.  Course content begins with properly planning an SSAS solution to ensure it solves stated business requirements, and then takes the student through modeling, implementing and deploying the database.  The final section of the course covers performance baseline, monitoring and improvement strategies.

Advanced SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
This SQL Server Training covers advanced topics in SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services.  The course covers new features in SQL Server 2008 and teaches students how to use the Reporting Services development tools to create more advanced reports and solutions.
