Dallas, TX — June 4, 2008 – Today, Scalability Experts Inc. announced that their Chief Architect Joe Yong and Senior Consultant Rick Heiges will be presenting at Microsoft TechEd in Orlando, Fl the week of June 9, 2008.
TechEd is a Microsoft Premier technical education conference for IT Professionals. Microsoft and industry experts will share their expertise about how to architect, deploy, manage, and secure and enterprise.
Joe Yong, will be delivering the session DAT355: Upgrading to Microsoft SQL Server 2008: Notes from Early Adopters and Best Practices. Joe led the team that built the content and tools for upgrade and application compatibility testing for SQL Server 2008 and worked with several dozen early adopters, on testing and upgrading their applications to SQL Server 2008. His session will cover the upgrade methodology, tools and best practices. He will also discuss common issues that users may encounter and how to resolve them.
Rick Heiges will be serving and an Ambassador in the SQL Technical Learning Center at the conference. Ambassadors answer customer questions about a specific Microsoft technology in the Technical Learning Centers. This is done via one-to-one chats, chalk talks, demos, and group discussions.
