Scalability Experts is invited to present at Microsoft “TechReady”; an internal global training and technology seminar at Microsoft Corporate in Redmond February 11-15, 2008

Dallas, TX — February 6, 2008 – Today, Scalability Experts Inc. announced that their Principal Architect Don Vilen and Chief Architect Joe Yong will be presenting at Microsoft TechReady in Redmond the week of February 11.
TechReady is a Microsoft internal program that focuses on training on new technologies and products to their consultants and technical sales roles. Microsoft technicians come from all over the world to attend this week long technology training and briefing seminar.
Joe Yong, who has been working in Redmond over the past 4 months on application compatibility with SQL Server 2008, will be revealing his findings related to upgrades from either SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005 as he trains technical personnel on the upgrade and application compatibility testing methodology and tools.
“Our work over the last few months included 6 application compatibility labs which were conducted with large ISVs on their actual applications. We learned a lot from these engagements and have developed recommendations and best practices as a result,” commented Joe Yong.
Don Vilen will be presenting a breakout session covering a structured upgrade framework that was developed for Microsoft’s partner community. Additionally, Don will be participating in the “Ask the Experts” sessions relating to SQL Server.
