Scalability Experts and Microsoft Reach Out Globally to Provide Upgrade and Application Compatibility Programs

Scalability Experts worked in partnership with Microsoft to drive SQL Server 2008 Upgrade and Application Compatibility Programs for partners and customers across three continents covering countries that include India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the United States and more. The primary focus of these labs was to help the ISVs and customers verify the readiness of their applications for SQL Server 2008 so that clients can approach the upgrade process with confidence. Scalability Experts also engaged in architectural and design discussions to help these ISVs and customers understand the benefits of key enhancements in SQL Server 2008. This enables deeper adoption of SQL Server features within the application.
SE has an incomparable track record in providing this assistance, as evidenced in a similar project with SQL Server 2005. SE’s role in the 2008 collaboration mirrors the value in content and tools development that it provided in its previous 2005 role. Collaborating with the SQL Server development team and the DPE team, SE provided technical leadership in the design and development of the upgrade and application compatibility tools and content.
